About Me

You found me! I’m Pam. I’m not a military wife or a medical expert on brain injuries, rather a living participant. Like you, I live daily in the aftermath of this condition, personally and as a spouse.

In February of 2014, I broke my neck, becoming instantly paralyzed. However, six months later, I received a secondary diagnosis of a mild traumatic brain injury. That diagnosis changed my world more than learning to walk again. Quite frankly, I was a mess. And sometimes, I still am.

Like so many, these injuries left me with challenges. Everyday there are obstacles to overcome, both physically, mentally and spiritually. And everyday, somehow I fail and fall. But there is One who catches me, and when I fall into the Word, I find the peace I need for the moment.

I invite you to join me in this journey. Our lives don’t have to be a continuous walk of pain due to behavior changes in our spouses (or us). Rather, they can be filled with joy as we seek together the One Who created us in His image. This is done by taking the Word and allowing it to wash over our hearts and minds, refreshing our weary souls. I look forward to our times together.
